Full Description

Wasserman operates at the epicenter of sports, music and entertainment, serving talent, brands and properties on a global scale. Our brands and properties division works with iconic brands and rights holders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. We're a trusted partner to every major league, team and venue, building meaningful connections between brands, properties and fans.

We’re seeking a curious, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You should be comfortable turning complex data into clear insights, and be confident turning those insights into strategic narratives that influence decision-making. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams are essential. If you’re passionate about sports, entertainment, and culture - and eager to help brands and rights holders navigate these spaces with creativity and rigor - you’ll fit right in.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires them to toggle between various partnership capabilities and expertise as they support a rotating roster of brand and property clients.

Why You’ll Love It Here

You’ll be part of a growing team that helps brands and rights holders make smarter, more impactful decisions across sports, entertainment, and culture. We combine rigorous analysis with fresh thinking to solve complex challenges and uncover new opportunities. Here, you’ll have the support of experienced strategists, the space to grow your expertise, and the freedom to bring your perspective to every conversation.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in shaping strategic thinking for some of the world’s most dynamic brands and rights holders. From uncovering insights through research and data analysis to developing impactful partnership strategies, you’ll help guide clients through the evolving landscape of sports, entertainment, and culture. This role is about connecting trends to actionable plans, managing complex projects with precision, and collaborating across teams to deliver work that drives real value.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of multiple brands and rights holder clients.
  • Research and synthesise significant amounts of information, conduct analyses, and develop influential storylines and presentations (e.g. partnership valuations, strategic plans, market landscapes, partnership point of view reports, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyse ongoing sponsorship and market trends within sports, entertainment and culture. Translate the data trends into key insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Use syndicated, proprietary and other tools to research, analyse and extract consumer insights and industry/client data.
  • Learn and utilise proprietary sponsorship valuation and measurement models to inform ROI for clients.
  • Synthesise and analyse data to equip clients with recommendations and support internal decision-making.
  • Support the effective project management of allocated projects, determining critical milestones and reporting cadence.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop and refine client deliverables, such as presentations, reporting tools, and supporting materials.
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with both internal and external clients to grow current business portfolio.
  • Support broader Wasserman Global Consulting team on client projects and new business opportunities where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 - 4+ years of relevant experience, including direct knowledge of the sports and entertainment sponsorship and marketing industry from the brand and/or rights holder perspective
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, with advanced skills particularly required for PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Innate curiosity, proactive thinking and the ability to isolate key insights that will contribute to practical strategic recommendations.
  • Experience working with data and well-developed analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Ability to think creatively and to tell a compelling story, particularly through PowerPoint decks.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, deliver on tight deadlines and seamlessly adapt to ambiguity and changing needs.
