Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Accommodation Finance Specialist.

The identified resource will be responsible for:

·Support the execution of active invoicing towards Client Groups and assist in revenue collection tracking;

·Collaborate in the management of accounts payable and in ensuring timely payments to accommodation providers (hotels);

·Monitor financial status through the Accommodation Management System and financial platforms (e.g., Oracle);

·Assist in the production of regular reports on payment status, pending releases, and financial exposure;

·Support the update of the forecast of cash inflows (stakeholder payments) vs. outflows (hotel payments);

·Act as a point of contact for basic financial clarifications towards both suppliers and Client Groups;

·Collaborate with the Accommodation and Finance teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies;

·Contribute to risk management by identifying financial gaps or inconsistencies in the accommodation programme.

Requirements

Essential:

• Initial experience in financial roles, preferably within the Hospitality, Accommodation, or Large-Scale Events sectors
• Basic understanding of invoicing processes, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reconciliation
• Good organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial software (Oracle or similar)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment and to meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Accommodation Management Systems and hotel booking processes
• Past experience in major sports events or Games-related projects
• Italian language proficiency
