Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
The resource will be involved in the following activities:
- Act as the main point of contact in venue meetings, identifying and escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Ensure seamless knowledge transfer and maintain clear communication with the Workforce team, other functional areas, and the venue team to support smooth project execution.
- Oversee workforce scheduling, including volunteer management.
- Support departments coordinating volunteers by assisting with planning, absence tracking, relationship management, and mission compliance.
- Ensure an outstanding experience for all workforce members.
- Collaborate with Workforce Systems to scope, test, and implement all phases of the Workforce Journey, including assignments, offers, invitations, scheduling, and rostering
Requirements
- Previous experience in events (1-3 years) and / or high-paced and project-based organisation; Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite, with experience using project management software.
- Analytical skills, including experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis (Excel modeling, database management, interviews).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and apply an 80/20 approach to problem-solving while managing multiple projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and high-pressure environment.
- Adaptable, proactive, and hands-on, with strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with experience presenting to senior audiences and influencing decision-making
