The IRFU are inviting applications for the role of Accessibility Ticketing Executive.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Ticket Office Team, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional service is maintained in the allocation and distribution of Wheelchair/Accessible tickets.
The position is being offered on a full time, 2 year fixed term contract basis for the specific purpose of covering a period of leave. The role is based at our Head Office, 10-12 Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4.

POST TITLE: Accessibility Ticketing Executive
ROLE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION
Working as part of the Ticket Office Team, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional service is maintained in the allocation and distribution of Wheelchair/Accessible tickets. Maintain accurate records of accessibility requests and liaise with supporters by phone, email and in person to verify requirements and provide tailored support. Provide support in the allocation and distribution of tickets for the Commercial & Marketing Department.

KEY QUALITIES

- Essential:
- Excellent organisation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A good knowledge of MS Office packages, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.

- 2-3 years previous experience in an administrative role.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
General areas of responsibility include:

- Communicate with and assist disabled supporters in relation to requests for Wheelchair/accessible tickets by email, phone and face to face.
- Collating application forms and logging on excel spreadsheet.
- Issue thousands of bespoke communications across the season to disabled supporters such as ticket application forms, ticket allocations and matchday information supports.
- Handle high volumes of email and telephone enquiries for Wheelchair/accessible ensuring queries ensuring they are managed in a discreet and respectful manner.
- Provide the IRFU accessibility team, IRFU operations and Aviva stadium operations with reports of Wheelchair/Accessible sections highlighting sold, reserved, available sections for every matchday in the Aviva Stadium.
- Support the Diversity & Inclusion Department and operations department at events such as Senior men’s team open training sessions by allocating accessible seating and coordinate player meet and greets with disabled supporters.
- Communicate and support the Commercial and Marketing department in delivery and payment of ad hoc match tickets for all games.
- Creation of ticket manifests for the ticketing system and ticket distribution for away events.
- Training and support of new members of staff.
- Following up with supporters in relation to queries sent to Ticketqueries mailbox
- Handle general enquiries from supporters by phone and face to face throughout the season.
- Provide on hand assistance to general public on match days at Ticketmaster booths at the Aviva Stadium.
- Provide general support where needed to the ticketing team.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Maintain effective relationships with staff within the department and the IRFU
Perform duties and responsibilities in line with outlined policies & procedures
Establish efficient work practices
Portray a competent and professional image of the IRFU on behalf of the Ticket Office department
Salary for this role is depending on experience.
