The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Glasgow 2026 team as a Written Content Specialist — a vital role in shaping the stories, voice, and messaging that will define the Games. You’ll craft compelling, inclusive, and engaging written content that connects with diverse audiences, from athletes and spectators to volunteers and the Games workforce.

As part of the Marketing and Content team, you’ll lead on written storytelling across a wide range of channels including social media, websites, newsletters, internal communications, and public-facing information. From athlete interviews and behind-the-scenes features to campaign copy and operational comms, you’ll help bring the Glasgow 2026 brand to life through every word.

Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll help maintain a consistent tone of voice, adapt content for different formats and platforms, and ensure our communications are accessible, relevant, and impactful. If you’re a sharp writer with an eye for a story and a passion for inclusive communication, this role is for you.
