Full Description
As a working student in our Data Science team focusing on Sports Performance Analytics, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience tackling real-world challenges within sports analytics. From fan-centric commercial projects to athlete-centric performance projects, you'll support the exploration, analysis, and visualisation of data, helping to drive impactful insights and actionable outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experts across diverse domains, combining insights from data science, sports performance, and business operations.
We are looking for a motivated student to join us as soon as possible and for approx. 20h/week, bringing enthusiasm and a passion for data and sports to support our team.

Expand all
CONDUCT STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
You'll use R or Python to analyse sports-related data and uncover actionable insights.
VISUALISE DATA
You'll create compelling visualisations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and support decision-making.
SUPPORT ONGOING PROJECTS
As a working student, you'll collaborate with a motivated team to support ongoing fan-centric and athlete-centric projects, contributing to both commercial and performance-related initiatives.
INTEGRATE AND IMPLEMENT DATA PRODUCTS
You'll assist in integrating and implementing data products, ensuring seamless access to actionable insights.
COLLABORATE
Additional you'll work with cross-functional teams, partnering with experts from diverse domains to develop and apply data science solutions in real-world sports scenarios.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Advanced undergraduate or postgraduate students currently enrolled in a university program in Data Science, Sports Science, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- First experience of programming in R or Python for data analysis and visualisation
- Familiarity with statistical methods and their application to solve real-world problems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present results clearly
- Communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Willingness to learn and proactively take on new challenges
