An exciting opportunity with plenty of creative freedom awaits you in our Global Digital Services & Data team at our Hamburg location. Our colleague Uta Blankenfeld  is looking for you to join her team as: 

Part Time | 20h/Week | Initially litimed to one year

Our Global Digital Services & Data team is responsible for digital transformation and data‑driven services. We focus on building and further developing global data platforms, integrating new technologies, and providing robust data infrastructures for internal processes and customer projects. The goal is to deliver scalable data solutions that make sports marketing more efficient and transparent.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will work in and with a small, dedicated team of experienced data engineers
• You support the development and maintenance of automated data pipelines that process information from various internal and external sources
• You help build processes for the continuous collection and processing of online data sources
• You contribute to improving data quality and availability for downstream analytics and reporting processes
• You identify new technical solution approaches by contributing your own ideas.

Your Profile:

• You are an enrolled student in (business) informatics, data engineering, software development, or a comparable technical program
• You have initial programming experience (ideally in Python) and are familiar with databases (SQL)
• Ideally, you have already worked with APIs, HTTP requests, and the processing of structured and unstructured data
• Experience with cloud technologies in the Microsoft Azure environment (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, or Azure SQL) is a plus
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS parsing, working with JSON/XML data, and techniques for robust data collection is beneficial
• You are a team player, communicate proactively, and have a good command of English? It's a match!
