The Workforce Operations role supports the delivery of uniform services for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, ensuring that thousands of volunteers and workforce members receive a smooth, well-organized, and memorable uniform collection experience. The main responsibilities include:
- Support the UDC Manager in daily uniform distribution operations, ensuring smooth execution of the workforce and volunteer uniform collection process.
- Manage product flow from receiving to storage to distribution, ensuring proper inventory tracking, replenishment cycles, and stock organization.
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory counts, escalating discrepancies and identifying restock needs.
- Coordinate logistics activities required for successful uniform distribution, including deliveries, storage arrangements, back-of-house preparation, and operational readiness.
- Oversee back-of-house orderliness, ensuring that uniforms, supplies, equipment, and materials remain organized, labeled, and easily accessible.
- Assist with operational planning, distribution schedules, workflow mapping, and staffing support to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Support training and onboarding of uniform center staff and volunteers, ensuring all personnel understand processes, product handling protocols, and customer-service expectations.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, helping ensure a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for all workforce members collecting their tournament-time uniforms.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges, adapt to changing volume levels, and support problem-solving for daily distribution needs.
- Coordinate closely with the Uniforms Central HQ Team and FIFA Teamwear representatives to ensure alignment on inventory, product issues, reporting, and operational standards.
- Assist in uniform center reporting, documentation, and communication to ensure consistent updates across operational teams.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in distribution operations, event logistics, warehouse environments, or workforce operations will be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and customer-service orientation are essential.
Work Experience
- Experience in large-scale event operations, warehouse or distribution center environments, workforce operations, logistics coordination, or inventory management.
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers during high-volume operations is preferred.
- Experience supporting major sports events or high-pressure operational environments is a plus.
Language
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
