Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety compliance processes for the Milano Cortina 2026 workforce.


This role will assist in the coordination of training, medical checks, and onboarding procedures, ensuring alignment with H&S standards, and contributing to the readiness of personnel ahead of Games Time.


  • Support the H&S Manager in monitoring health and safety training activities and compliance processes across venues.
  • Assist external consultants in tracking training and medical onboarding for workforce personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updates in the digital tools used for H&S compliance and workforce onboarding.
  • Collect and consolidate data for weekly progress reports and share updates with key internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Services in the execution of onboarding procedures, including standard timelines and documentation.
  • Flag non-compliance or delays and support corrective actions such as reminders, rescheduling, or local interventions.
  • Help prepare and distribute readiness updates to venue teams and the central H&S function.
  • Contribute to achieving training completion rates in line with internal goals and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in workforce coordination, training administration, or H&S-related projects.
  • Familiarity with onboarding or compliance processes in large-scale or multi-site environments.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Comfortable using Excel and digital platforms for data entry and reporting.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and communicative, with the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations or interest in developing expertise in this area.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Olympic venues.
