Women's Data Visualisation Analyst (part-time, 3 days) 6M FTC

We are searching for a Women's Data Visualisation Analyst on a 6-month FTC, working part-time (3 days per week, 0.6 FTE)

The Data Visualisation Analyst will focus on delivering dashboards, reports and insights specifically focused on the Senior Women's team in preparation for use of the technical & performance staff at the European Championships in July 2025

What will you be doing?

• Produce bespoke dashboards on Tableau as directed by the key stakeholders & the Data & Technology Manager for use of our England Women's teams
• Focus on player and team comparison or profiling dashboarding, including self-servicing features that can be utilised on Tableau Cloud for end users
• Specific focus on new football datasets accessible for the tournament including but not limited to; Bespoke team & individual metrics, tournament event & tracking data and physical performance data
• Support Physical data reporting for live use in-game using tracking data utilising live refreshed data in Tableau Cloud
• Be a support to the tournament hub & data department during the tournament and support any requests
• Run sessions on advanced dashboarding techniques and calculations with Data Analyst working with the Women's Teams
• Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, computer/data science etc.) or in sports science, sport management or related field with demonstrable analytics experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient use of Tableau Desktop for data visualisations, dashboards, and reports.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient use of Tableau Cloud.
• Knowledge and understanding of football events and tracking data and its application in sports analytics especially from Stats Perform / Hudl Wyscout / Second Spectrum / Hawkeye / StatsBomb
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Beneficial to have:

• Experience working within an elite football environment.
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform & Google Big Query services.
• Experience using Python.
