Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Trade Marketing, this position will help drive WHOOP's retail business. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall support, planning, design, deployment and measurement of marketing both in-store and online with our retail partners, delivering a consistent brand experience across all channels.
As a Marketing Specialist, you'll assume ownership of multiple projects, contributing towards business objectives. From developing innovative in-store experiences to building dynamic PDPs, this role will have a direct influence on elevating WHOOP amongst competitors in a retail environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support all marketing activities for multiple retail partners across digital and trade channels.
- Own copy and product attributes on partners' PDPs, updating regularly.
- Manage the retail-specific content calendar and master asset library.
- Manage the wholesale retail store directory and store locator updates on whoop.com.
- Write creative briefs & collaborate with internal teams throughout project lifetimes.
- Contribute to visual merchandising standards and develop trade toolkits for POS assets such as fixtures and signage for retail partners.
- Develop in-store events/training programs to promote associate learning and customer sell-through.
- Support omnichannel marketing diligence, including consumer insights, visual merchandising best practices, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years of experience in brand/digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of retail marketing and merchandising.
- Ability to manage multiple retailers simultaneously.
- Brings a mix of a creative & commercial mindset to the table.
- Highly organized with the ability to pivot between multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills.
- Loves getting into the weeds and being a hands-on problem solver.
- Strong time management skills - executes with pace and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
- Passion for fitness, health, & technology.
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
