Full Description

how you will make an impact:

  • Define and execute the business strategy to grow revenue, expand channels, and build brand presence in Australia.
  • Drive market share growth across wholesale, retail, eCommerce, and B&M channels.
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution models.
  • Full accountability for the Australia P&L, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost control.
  • In close partnership with the International Head of Product, drive product strategy and assortment planning tailored to the local market.
  • Ensure operational excellence across sales, marketing, supply chain, and store operations.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing local team.
  • Foster a culture aligned to Fanatics’ BOLD Leadership principles and values.
  • Partner with global enabling functions (Finance, HR, Legal, Tech, etc.) to ensure the Australia team is supported and empowered.
  • Oversee retail operations, including owned stores and wholesale partnerships.
  • Lead eCommerce growth, driving traffic, conversion, and customer experience.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through to sell-through.
  • Ensure compliance with all local legal, financial, and operational standards.
  • Act as the face of Fanatics in Australia with partners, licensors, leagues, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide timely reporting, forecasting, and insight to International leadership.

what you bring to the team:

  • 15+ years’ leadership experience in consumer-focused industries (retail, wholesale, eCommerce, sports, apparel, or adjacent).
  • Proven track record of full P&L management with revenue >$50M.
  • Strong experience scaling a business in a high-growth or “build” phase.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel distribution (eComm, wholesale, retail, B&M).
  • Product development experience—comfortable leading assortment, buying, and merchandising strategy.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills; experience working with licensors and brand partners is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on operational capability.
  • Strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
  • Relentless drive for results and accountability.
  • Strong collaborator able to operate in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Passion for sports, retail, and delivering for fans.
  • Culturally agile and adaptable to a global business environment.

Where You’ll Work and What’s required:
