Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

This position is an integral part of the Venues & Infrastructure (VNI) functional area and will support the team to deliver the project in line with the agreed milestones, project plans and budgets.

This individual will support part of the Engineering Services scope of works, planning and execution for a number of competition and non-competition venues, or for a number of commodities.

The key areas within Engineering Services include:

·Mechanical Services

·Electrical Services (small power)

·Hydraulic Services

·Cabling Containment

·Lighting & Rigging

·Acoustic

·Structural Services

This position will assist in the preparation of MC26 technical documentation, required for the procurement of professional services and temporary works, as well as support with scheduling and planning activities required.

Support Engineering Services activities within the VDO area.

He/she will:

• Support the production of technical documentation for external engineering consultancies when needed.
• Support the VDO team in the preparation, collection and checking of the technical documentation needed to run tenders.
• Support the VDO team and statutory roles in place in the collection and checking of all the documentation needed to file for building permit and temporary fit-for-use certification.
• Suppport the manage relationships with service providers / contractors to ensure efficient and effective delivery.Be aware and comply with the Corporation's health and safety policies, standards practices and program

Requirements

• Qualification in an Engineering Field;
• Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage;
• IT- experienced knowledge of usual office software + technical drawings software;
• At least 6 months experience in the role.
