We are looking for a Senior Quality Mechanical Inspector to join our F1 Team in Faenza, Italy.

 

Reporting to the Head of Quality, as a Senior Quality Mechanical Inspector you will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, ensuring components traceability, managining NCRs and CRs and supporting track fault investigations.

EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Technical high school diploma;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive companies (motorsport experience preferred);
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings with expertise in precision mechanics, materials, and material treatments;
• Familiarity with measurement tools:
• Coordinate Measuring Machines: Zeiss (Calypso software) and/or Hexagon (PolyWorks software);
• Anthropomorphic Measuring Arms: with laser scanning head (preferably with PolyWorks software);
• Standard Bench Tools: micrometer, vernier, gauge blocks, roughness meter, hardness meter, profilometer, etc.
• Knowledge of automotive Quality systems and procedures:
• experience working with external suppliers;
• understanding of non-conformity management and traceability concepts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred);
• Proficiency in English (B1 level preferred);
• High flexibility, including availability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends;
• Proactive attitude and strong pressure/stress management skills;
• Willingness to travel for business, both within Italy and abroad.
