Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

The Olympic and Paralympic Villages are the hearts of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, being the main home of athletes and primary team officials. The Villages Accommodation, Inventory & Inspection and Helpdesk Coordinator has the key role to lead on the readiness and coordination of all aspects of operations and services within the Villages in Existing Hotels, ensuring residents and guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay and services in the hotels meet the standards of the Olympic Villages. This role involves overseeing various operation-related services to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of residents. This role exists in the Olympic Villages in Existing Hotels in Bormio, Livigno and Anterselva.


This position plays a key role in ensuring on the readiness of Villages and on the service delivery within the Villages, providing the residents with a safe and comfortable environment. The goal is to create optimal living conditions throughout the Villages in Existing Hotels.

This position is responsible for leading the preparation and coordination of daily operations of the villages with the different hotels in the Villages and ensuring alignment with other operational functions and areas. The role is expected to begin in September 2025, to ensure the Villages readiness and to secure the optimal delivery of services throughout the Olympic Games.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and train the existing hotel staff for the Olympic standards and services.
  • Align the standards of accommodation and services to Olympic standards, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies or concerns promptly to uphold the reputation of both the Olympic Games and the host hotels. 
  • Housekeeping: alignment and lead of the coordination of all the cleaning operations in the Villages.
  • Inventory Management: lead on check and control of inventory of the spaces in the hotels, both rooms and common spaces.
  • Laundries Management: lead on planning the house laundry and resident laundries service in the Villages or with external contractors.
  • Facilities Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance staff of the hotels to address any maintenance or repair needs within the rooms, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality standards for cleanliness, comfort within rooms and spaces. Support on the development of an overall plan with existing hotels and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with organizational policies and residents' expectations.
  • Residential Services (Resident Centre). Lead the hotels on the service levels planning of the Resident Centres service on the focus to provide exemplary customer service to residents, communication structure on the issue resolution system required during Games time to address inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly.
  • Inspection & Inventory (I&I) lead operations on liaise with NOC (National Olympic Committees) representatives to coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Helpdesk leading point on the definition of process and integration with existing hotel operations.
  • Provide ongoing support during the Games, addressing any unforeseen challenges or changes in the service's needs.
  • The role may include additional scope as determined by project requirements and any necessary adjustments.


Requirements

Qualifications (Essentials)


  • Previous experience in Hospitality or Hotel Management, preferably in guest services and housekeeping operations, at large-scale events, hotels or cruise ships.
  • Experience in team management and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and comfort standards.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining service quality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience with databases and digital record-keeping.
  • Proficient in English and Italian (written and spoken).
  • Candidates must be based in Bormio, Livigno or Anterselva.


Desirables


  • Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, French, German).
  • Familiarity with Autocad will be considered an advantage.
  • Valid Category B (car) driving license (EU-recognized).
