Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Village Guest Pass and Services Specialist.


Pre-Games Phase

During the pre-Games period, the resource will contribute to the planning and preparation of Village Services operations, supporting a smooth transition into Games Time. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Volunteer rostering: Supporting the development and management of volunteer schedules, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources across all service areas. 
  • Volunteer training coordination: Assisting in the planning and delivery of training sessions to ensure all volunteers are well-prepared, informed, and aligned with their roles and responsibilities. 
  • Preparation of operational documents and forms: Developing and organizing all necessary materials, such as checklists, daily run sheets, briefing templates, and reporting tools, to support day-to-day service delivery. 
  • Final review and set-up of spaces during the bump-in phase: Collaborating with internal teams and contractors to finalize the layout and set-up of designated service areas within the Village, ensuring readiness and compliance with operational plans. 
  • Finalization of the Village Services Operational Plan.
  • A comprehensive document detailing operations, workflows, involved partners, and timelines for each service within the Villages, approved prior to the start of operational activities, in line with the Master Schedule milestones. 
  • Final review of Village specific policies and procedures relating to Guest Pass Center and Services.


Games Time Phase:

The resource will play a key role in supporting Village Services Coordinator, ensuring the effective delivery of all assigned services within the Olympic and Paralympic Village. This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse teams in a dynamic environment. 

Key responsibilities include: 

Arrivals & Departures – Team Processing Centre (TPC) & Main Entries: 

  • Coordinating athlete arrivals and departures, working closely with relevant Functional Areas (such as Transport, Accreditation, Security, and Logistics, Event Services) to ensure seamless transitions and an athlete-first experience. 
  • Help coordinate volunteers to support smooth arrival and departure operations. 
  • Assist in welcoming delegations and guiding them through the arrival process. 
  • Help monitor the arrival process and assist in resolving any small issues. 
  • Support the tracking of delegation movements and schedules. 

 Guest Pass Centre: 

  • Assist in the daily setup and operations of the Guest Pass Centre. 
  • Help volunteers issue and control guest passes following procedures. 
  • Support queue management and guest flow at access points. 
  • Assist with guest registration and pass issuing systems. 
  • Help verify guest information and support coordination with security when needed. 
  • Provide basic information and direct more complex requests to the Supervisor. 
  • Contribute to maintaining simple records of pass activity and daily summaries. 

 Fitness & Recreational Areas / Sponsor Activations: 

  • Help set up and check that fitness and recreational areas are ready for daily use. 
  • Support volunteers in monitoring cleanliness, equipment use, and general upkeep. 
  • Assist in making sure the areas are safe, welcoming, and used respectfully. 
  • Follow policies and guidelines to ensure everything aligns with Village rules and Olympic values.  

 General Support Duties: 

  • Participate in shift briefings and help volunteers understand their tasks. 
  • Support accurate handovers between shifts and keep basic activity notes. 
  • Be a helpful, flexible team player ready to jump in where needed. 



Requirements

  • Ability to plan and manage complex operational activities in multi-stakeholder environments. 
  • Experience in managing, training, and motivating large groups of volunteers. 
  • Capable of identifying real-time issues and delivering effective solutions under pressure. 
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in dynamic contexts 
  • Accuracy in managing space readiness, documentation, operational flows, and service standards.   
  • Educational background in Event Management, Hospitality, Sports, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred – equivalent experience or a strong desire to learn is also valued. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and during Games time. 
  • Able to travel extensively and relocate to the assigned MOUNTAIN village during Games Times  
  • Valid Drivers license 
  • Strong English and understanding of Italian is required
