Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a proactive Venue Tech Manager to join our team and oversee the implementation of technological services required by the Foundation's Business Plan within various venues. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and guiding all activities according to SDLC methodologies, ensuring direct involvement where necessary, and coordinating projects across the IT function, suppliers, Top and Domestic Sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish direct and effective communication with venue managers to coordinate the implementation of TEC spaces in accordance with the project schedule and standards.
  • Coordinate with other operational areas of MiCo26 to implement their TEC requirements within the venue.
  • Develop an implementation organization plan specific to the assigned venue, considering competition requirements and venue characteristics.
  • Report promptly any program changes, delays, or critical situations arising from exceptional or unforeseen circumstances using available communication systems and processes.
  • Coordinate the setup, commissioning, and delivery of TEC equipment.
  • Serve as the fixed representation of MiCo26 at the venue to monitor, direct, report, and ensure the Foundation's presence, especially in remote locations.
  • Lead the venue technology team, moderating meetings, communicating directives from the TOC, and producing reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong background in technology project management.
