Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

This position is an integral part of the Venue Development & Overlay (VDO) functional area and will support for the temporary infrastructures delivery of one or more venues in line with the agreed milestones, project plans and budgets reporting to the Overlay Manager.

• Amending and editing of the contract package, scheduling / planning activity and site delivery / safety purposes;
• Technical support and coordination of MC26 bidder contractor for the procurement of temporary infrastructure;
• Is able to update and amend design package and related documents through the appropriate softwares;
• Suggest, follow instructions and report on delivery of overlay projects across one or more venues;
• Support the Delivery Manager and/or Delivery Coordinator in the bidding phase, the variation process, and the site delivery;
• Supports the review and comments on the proposed design in line with the contract;
• Ensure a high standard of relationship with all internal functions, stakeholders and contractors and the like;
• Full knowledge of all contract and site management documentation;
• Attend to all stakeholder meeting;
• Be aware and comply with the Corporation's health and safety policies, standards practices and program, and report to H&S Manager in case of not compliance.

Requirements

• Knowledge of delivery process at different stages and in view of site management. Able to multi-tasking. Experience in the delivery of sporting venues and temporary infrastructures for major sport events is a plus;
• Qualification in Engineering, Architecture;
• Delivery experience with a specialist role in a construction / engineering environment is a plus;
• IT-experienced, professional use of CAD/BIM softwares, knowledge of usual office softwares;
• Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage;
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects. Experience in previous Organizing Committees or Multi Sport Events is an advantage
