We are one of the two Red Bull-owned Formula 1 Teams, and a group of passionate professionals always striving for excellence and continuous improvement in every aspect of our operations.
We are looking for an experienced Race Mechanic In this role you will:
- Assist in the build, setup, and maintenance of F1 race cars and F1 car parts for test and race events under the direction of the No.1 mechanic.
- Support pit stop operations, tyre changes, and garage organisation during race weekends.
- Carry out component changes, system checks, and routine servicing with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate build sheets, service records, and parts inventories.
- Ensure all components meet race standards for performance, safety, and presentation.
- Contribute to workshop preparation and post-event teardown, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Expand all
Car setup and pit stop operations
Work closely with N1 mechanic, chief Mechanic and Race Engineers to implement setup changes and ensure vehicle reliability.
executing lightning-fast pit stop operations, meticulous maintenance and repair, and quick troubleshooting of mechanical or technical issues.
Teamwork and collaboration
serve as a vital link, communicating with race engineers to ensure that the car's mechanical aspects align with the team's strategic goals.
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.
To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / team/ sponsors.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Relevant Experience working with Formula race cars in F1, or similar F2-F3 international racing series.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage bespoke vehicle setups.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to travel globally and adapt to dynamic schedules.
- Available to travel extensively as required.
- Travel 70-80%
