Full Description
The Role:
Join a central Ops team that keeps Genius running smoothly - empowering our teams to focus on what they do best: driving the business forward.
Lead a high-performing trading desk focused on delivering a best-in-class US sports live product. This is a hands-on managerial role: you’ll coach, mentor, and develop traders; manage workload and resources; and drive quality, reporting, and cross-team communication in a fast-paced environment. Prior industry experience is highly valuable. Strong knowledge of US sports is essential
What you’ll do:

Manage a team responsible for trading US sports events offered as live product.

Own and optimise operational processes, SOPs, and quality standards.

Plan staffing, shifts, and resources; handle short- and long-term capacity planning.

Analyse and report on team performance and KPIs; drive continuous improvement.

Coach, mentor, and develop staff; provide feedback, training, and career support.

Ensure the desk meets productivity, quality, and target outcomes.

Coordinate daily with Product, Modelling, Risk, Commercial, and Support; communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Oversee incident/escalation management and post-mortems to improve reliability.
What you’ll bring:

Proven people-management experience in trading, operations, or a related domain.

Deep knowledge of US sports (e.g., NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) and betting/trading principles.

Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and decision-making skills under pressure.

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
-
High integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

A strong, committed work ethic and ownership mindset.
