Job Description

  • Trading Incidents Manager​

  • The position Trading Incidents Manager will be responsible for managing the Trading Incidents team within Trading Incidents, Escalations & Sports Feed Team Dept. (TIES)​

  • The  Trading Incidents Manager interacts with: other managers and various colleagues in Trading as well as other business functions such as Product and Tech, Customer Services…​

  • Working with the trading dept across all sports to assist them in solving any issues they encounter​

  • Leading a team of around -15 Direct Reports of Trading Incidents Team Leads, Lead Analysts and Analysts​

  • Represent Trading on Major Incidents and lead the Dept in managing all aspects of the incident for Trading ​

  • Send Communication to Trading of the impacts of a Major Incident to Trading ​

  • Ensure the team is up to date with any latest regulatory requirements for all labels across Entain as well as working closely with the Sportsbook Operations Team for BetMGM and US regulations ​

  • Communicating issues, workarounds and downtimes to all relevant stakeholders and managing their expectations accordingly; ​

  • Own the resolution of all issues, even whilst they sit with external teams; ​

  • Carry out investigations and initial triage to determine the necessary actions for all incidents raised to Trading  ​

  • Determine and document the impact and scale of all incidents raised ​

  • Undertaking Quality Assurance to ensure that we are offering an optimal service to our customers; ​

  • Reporting any QA issues to the relevant team to ensure speedy resolution; ​

  • Raising any long-term issues affecting QA to the appropriate development/support team; ​

  • Contribute to a positive working environment and always encourage great teamwork ​​

Qualifications

  • Degree level education would be preferable but is not a pre-requisite.
  • Strong knowledge of Sports and/or Sports Betting.
  • Solid ability in escalating issues in a concise and quick manner.
  • Strong communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation) .
  • Ability to summarise complex data in a succinct and easy to understand manner.
  • Calm under pressure and the ability to prioritise key tasks.
  • Highly motivated and organised.
  • 3 Years in a Trading team or equivalent function
  • Experience managing people or tasks
