Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Director of Trade Marketing for our growing Marketing team. We’re searching for a candidate who can direct the strategy and implementation of premium, engaging, and effective consumer facing programs at physical and digital retail. The candidate will also be accountable for creating innovative solutions that drive shopper behavior and deliver against sales and marketing objectives for key customers.
This position will be responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, which include, but are not limited to the ones listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive trade marketing strategy and programming across all channels of business
- Focus on ensuring product placement and shelf visibility in the UK ( formats, placements, planograms, and POS/FSDU support)
- Facilitate regular reviews with partners to gathers insights and ensure optimal product display and promotional activities
- Plan and execute national marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, events and other relevant platforms
- Develop compelling marketing messages, content, and adapt creative assets that can be leveraged as ‘plug and play’ for our marketplace
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, optimize results and drive ROI of brand spend
- Guide development and execution of key trade events
- Deliver full suite of programming; from simple and effective, to innovative and differentiated
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, brand marketing, and product
- Build and establish strong relationships with external partners , be a critical thought partner and advocate for the hobby
Experience Needed:
- 10+ years' experience within a Trade marketing team at a brand, or within a Trade marketing agency.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insight into actionable marketing plans
- Proficient in using digital marketing analytical tools, and platforms, to measure campaign performance and ROI
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
- Someone who pushes innovation and has the acumen to explore new opportunities while identifying lean, agile solutions
- Proven ability to manage timelines and lead high-performing teams
- Passionate about sports and consumer brands and knowledge of the trading card and collectibles space
