Fixed Term Contract from September 2025 to Summer of 2028
The role
This exciting role will support the Tournament Operations team in the successful delivery of UEFA EURO 2028 across UK & Ireland through the provision of wide-ranging support and coordination to the team.
This will involve undertaking of specific projects to support the delivery of tournament operations but also day-to-day administrative assistance to the team including coordination and integration into the wider tournament planning as well providing travel and accommodation to the team.
There will also be a specific focus on supporting the operational governance groups that will be established to plan the tournament including scheduling, logistics and follow-up minutes/actions.
What will you be doing?
- Become a central point of contact for the operations department, encompassing stadium liaison, football services, stadium safety and security and medical teams.
- Manage all travel and accommodation for the tournament operations team including attendance at external meetings and site visits, liaising as required with venues and both internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings including scheduling, venue bookings, meeting logistics, agendas and actions for the team
- Assist the team with a variety of tasks including the preparation of presentations, papers and general administration
- Undertake additional tournament related projects including tournament milestone events as required throughout the tournament planning
- Responsible for overseeing the processing and payment of tournament related costs and invoices and maintaining accurate budgets in line with company policies.
- Execute additional tasks as required to meet changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
What are we looking for?
- Motivated and passionate about working within sporting events. Previous experience in major events is beneficial
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive experience in the MS Office suite
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and be asked for support from various members of the team at any time
- Proactive, approachable and positive attitude
- A desire to take on new tasks and areas of responsibility
- Ability to both establish and maintain relationships with wide ranging and diverse stakeholders
- An understanding of football and the structures within the game
- Experience of financial and budget management
- Proven communication skills and ability to deliver high quality written reports & presentations
- Extensive experience of Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Project Management tools

Where is the role based?
Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however depending on your role you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations.
As an event delivery organisation, it’s important that we have regular time together in the office and currently employees come together at least 2/3 days a week at HQ in Wembley, with the number of days in HQ increasing as the project develops with a minimum of 3-4 days needed in 2026-2027 and full time in the year of 2028.
