KEY HOLDER AND GOAL KEEPER FOR ALL QUALITY RELATED TOPICS
In this role you'll create and maintain quality standards and implement into product life circle. Maintaining QI processes with external partners and drive all resulting processes and measures will be also in the field of your responsibility.
Creating and maintain quality standards and implement into product life circle
A key focus of this role will be to establish clear, measurable quality criteria that products must meet at each stage of their lifecycle, from design to production to customer support. You'll also integrate quality control and assurance processes into the product development and production cycles. This involves setting up checkpoints and quality gates where products are inspected and tested against the defined standards.
Maintain QI processes with external partners and drive all resulting processes and measures
You'll also work closely with suppliers and external partners to ensure they understand and adhere to your quality standards. Regularly review their performance and provide feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Managing all QM document management
In this role you'll keep all quality-related documents organized and up to date. This includes quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records of quality checks and issues.
Drive improvement and escalation processes with external suppliers
When quality issues arise, you'll work with suppliers to analyze root causes, implement corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of these actions. Establish clear communication and escalation protocols for timely issue resolution will be another part of your responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Completed educational studies in textile and/or fashion business, preferred with focus on quality management
- 3 – 5 years of experience in apparel product development, QM or production
- Experienced with quality control/management processes in textile business
- Experienced with apparel production processes
- Experienced with international garment requirements and guidelines
- Knowledge of AQL processing
- Knowledge of all applicable markets for Sports and Fashion Apparel to be able to set standards and claims in a commercial context
- Advanced MS office knowledge, SAP & PLM Centric C8 is a plus
- First experiences in leadership would be beneficial
- Working on one’s own initiative and autonomously, closely with internal and external partners
- Strong organizing ability and proven analytical skills
- Highly solution oriented and proactive mindset with negotiation skills
