Tax Manager

Tax Compliance

• Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
• Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.

Tax Planning

• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
• Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and strategies.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.

Tax Reporting

• Prepare and review tax provisions for financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax information in financial reports.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure proper documentation and reporting of tax-related items.
• VAT, WHT, salary tax, social insurance monthly submissions to the tax authority
• Yearly tax return submission & monthly tax return submission to HQ.

Audit and Risk Management

• Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks through effective controls and processes.
• Keep abreast of tax law changes and assess their impact on the company.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives.
• Provide tax support for corporate transactions.
• Collaborate on international tax planning and compliance matters.

EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate environment or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
