JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Director Supply Chain, this position is responsible for executing the Fanatics sustainability monitoring and traceability programs through the WinCraft supply chain. This includes owned and contract facilities, in collaboration with Corporate Sustainability teams and internal departments to align to Fanatics Code of Conduct. Ensures compliance with customer and licensor specific sustainability requirements. Tracks and reports data related to social responsibility and traceability programs. Works closely with suppliers and factories to develop positive working relationships and to ensure their ability to adhere to sustainability goals and requirements. The role will be a liaison between local and corporate internal teams, 3rd party regulators, and customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Works directly with Fanatics Corporate Sustainability team to implement the goals and commitments of the Fanatics Social Responsibility program as per Fair Labor Association (FLA) obligations, customer specific audit and reporting requirements, and internal monitoring and traceability requirements. Acts as the liaison between local and corporate internal teams, 3rd party regulators, and customers.
- Works closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, Engineering, Licensing, Cost Accounting, and Sales teams on new sourcing and development opportunities to ensure that proposed Tier 1 suppliers and factories have followed all necessary monitoring and onboarding requirements before engaging in business relationships.
- Communicate all social and environmental requirements and updates with suppliers and internal teams to make sure all stakeholders are informed of expectations and ensure compliance.
- Maintain a current master Tier 1 factory list, in WinCraft, Fanatics & any 3rd party databases, and maintain system part number relationships for monitored suppliers and their factories where product is being produced.
- Track, manage progress, and report status of factory audits, remediation, and social/environmental scores. Be able to quickly and clearly respond if high-risk issues emerge from assessments or current events. Use system information to report, review and assess risks and recommend necessary actions to remediate.
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion and reporting of any supplier agreements, licensing factory disclosure agreements, restricted substance lists (RSLs), confidentiality agreements, social & FLA requirements, environmental health and safety reports, customer compliance reporting requests, as well as ad hoc requests.
- Support completion of the customer and 3rd party compliance modules to in coordination with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain including, but not limited to, FLA, Sumerra, HIGG, etc.
- Works closely with the Product Integrity Manager to execute plans needed that meet requirements for product traceability claims as outlined in federal, customer, or internal established rules, regulations and policies.
- Contact and gather the resources to understand and report on, but not limited to, cotton containing products, conflict minerals, metal containing products, restricted chemicals, or other ad hoc requests. Understand emerging areas of risk and work with internal teams to ensure current and continued alignment of product and material compliance.
- Identify areas to improve social responsibility and traceability programs, policies, and supply chain in support of Fanatics sustainability strategy and goals. Makes recommendations and coordinates improvements.
- Collaborates with internal and external auditors, Human Resources, EHS, and Operations for audit preparedness, as needed.
- Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or similar field of study.
4+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Engineering or similar background.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must have strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of inspection, training, quality auditing and statistics.
Ability to define and understand technical detail and information.
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment.
Must effectively interrelate with vendors and internal teammates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have advanced knowledge of Excel.
Self-motivated, with the ability to complete tasks and duties with limited supervision.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Strong ability to interact with direct staff and Senior Management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time
Ability to utilize a computer for entire shift
Ability to sit and/or stand for entire shift
