Location – London/Dublin/Leeds
Hybrid  - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

As part of the Global Finance Transformation team (Polaris), the Strategy Partner will work with a wide variety of Finance leaders across Global Finance and beyond to assess, shape and facilitate the design and implementation of the Polaris key strategic outcomes to deliver a Global Finance operating model. This role will lead the thinking on Global Finance Operating Model design & implementation within with the organisation & people pillar of the transformation programme. 

What you’ll do

To partner with the Senior Strategy Partner and stakeholders across Flutter Global Finance & Polaris Programme to:

  • Deliver the global Finance strategy & operating model
  • Provide thought-leadership in relation to:
    • How we drive innovation
    • How we harness the potential of our global Finance workforce
    • Agile, digital-aligned operating models
  • To lead the analysis that shapes complex solutions, including making recommendations on critical decisions.
  • To facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs and options to be progressed during the lifecycle of major strategic change.
  • To communicate effectively to ensure expectations, outcomes and impacts of Polaris strategic initiatives are clear and consistently understood.
  • To produce high quality, Global Finance LT & Polaris Steering Committee ready, outputs, proposals, and status updates.
  • To develop relationships with senior stakeholders across finance at Flutter.
  • To lead by example and foster an organisational culture that embraces change and continuous. improvement, while serving as a role model in the promotion of the Polaris ambition.

What you'll need:

  • Experience of operating in a senior role within a fast-paced global online/eCommerce organization, ideally one with a multi-divisional structure.
  • Experience building excellent working relationships with key stakeholders up to C-suite and collaborators at all levels of the Group.
  • Experience creating effective long-term strategies, and successfully implementing them; a critical thinker with a track record of solving complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a style that can flex according to the audience; excellent storytelling ability with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable creative thinking ability; willing to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to solve problems.
