Full Description
- Assist in recording and reconciling intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and proper policy alignment across domestic and international operations.
- Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for intercompany transactions and foreign operations.
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement scalable solutions for intercompany and international accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, company policies, and internal controls related to intercompany accounting activities.
- Assist with providing auditors with the necessary information during the audit process, maintaining proper recordkeeping for historical transactions.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by the Accounting Manager or other members of senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on international or intercompany transactions.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly in a multi-currency, international environment.
- Experience with financial reporting, consolidation, and eliminations preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
