Sr Staff Engr Cloud

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Staff Engineer specializing in Platform Engineering & Cloud to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in cloud technologies, platform architecture, infrastructure design, and strong leadership skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; Master's degree preferred.
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 Years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, etc.
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based platforms and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Architect and implement highly available, fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements, establish best practices, and drive architectural decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation.
• Drive initiatives to enhance platform security, compliance, and governance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
