Full Description
The Sr Manager of Security Operations for Fanatics Collectibles is responsible for the overall management of the security & operational resilience program on behalf of the Fanatics Collectibles business line.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically develop a security program for Fanatics Collectibles, ensuring that all industry- standard security disciplines are considered, evaluated, and implemented in accordance with Fanatics Collectibles' directives and its world class security standards;
- Lead and work collaboratively with internal company stakeholders on the development, review, and revision of security, crisis management, policies, procedures, onboarding, and training programs.
- Prioritize the safety and security of the company employees, vendors, contractors, and guests, ensuring actions taken to mitigate or eliminate risks are scalable and feasible;
- Recruit, train, and supervise multiple security professionals across time zones and regions.
- Provide project management oversight on greater security initiatives.
- Coordinate with key company stakeholders in the development of operational exception, security incident and theft reporting;
- Track, report, and utilize this reporting to drive continuous improvement and remedial recommendations such as new technology.
- Investigate and review security violations, crises, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions etc. and coordinate appropriate mitigation strategies;
- Review security trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the risk is highest;
- Partner with business leaders and security management to ascertain current and future security needs; develop and execute a strategic plan that achieves cost savings while building a platform to enable future security growth;
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments on detection and response controls to improve the security posture and prevent regression;
- Oversee contracted security guard service and create SOPs for contracted security;
- Administer security systems and maintain data for, without limitation, surveillance, access controls/badging, and alarms;
- Partner with company leaders to generate greater awareness and engagement on physical security programs.
- Support the installation of new security technologies with programming and technical oversight.
- Provide onsite supervision of contracted personnel providing physical security to safeguard personnel and property;
- Serve as the primary liaison and Company representative with external entities such as local law enforcement, fire departments, government agencies and vendors;
- Maintain an emergency response plan and coordinate internally and externally with the respective departments and agencies on preparedness; and
- Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, evaluate cost estimates, and review financial reports to assess performance levels to ensure efficiency and quality of services provided.
- Conduct risk assessments for events and source security services to staff Fanatics hosted events.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 6+ year's experience working in law enforcement, government intelligence agency, or corporate security with specific experience in implementing security programs.
- Deep expertise in a variety of electronic physical security systems and technology, including video surveillance, access control, video intercoms, turnstiles, etc.
- Understanding of low voltage technology (CCTV, Alarms, access control)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses)
- Expert knowledge of security operations, procedures and physical security systems.
- Working knowledge of risk management principles and experience managing security risk
- Experience managing and/or monitoring of CCTV systems (ExacqVision, Avilgilon Alta)
- Experience with access control software (Kantech, Lenel)
- Ability to function in and adapt appropriately to a fast-paced environment with competing demands and priorities on time.
- Proactive critical thinker and problem solver with ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong planning and time management abilities
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Team oriented with ability to interact with personnel across the organization (IT, HR, Finance, Legal).
- Strong passion for and comprehensive knowledge of sports.
- Exceptional written and oral communication; proven ability to manage relationships.
- Schedule flexibility for significant travel, potentially international, both on weekdays and weekends.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and effective time management
- Hold 100% credibility, objectivity and respect across all parts of the business
- Willingness to challenge status quo, innovate and introduce new ideas
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Available on an on-call basis for emergencies
In Los Angeles, the salary range for this position is $99,000-$123,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. In NYC, the salary range for this position is $107,000-$134,000. The listed salary ranges are specific to Los Angeles or NYC and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
