Full Description

The Senior Manager, Talent Systems will report to the Director, Talent Data & Systems within the HR function. They are accountable for the strategy and execution of the Talent Systems department, and the coaching & development of a team of three direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT

    Serve as the primary support contact for all North America’s core HCM applications, ensuring a high level of service.

    Develop and enforce detailed local processes for recurring support requests.

    Ensure adherence to service guidelines and maintain multiple ticketing platforms with up-to-date information.

    Monitor system interfaces to promptly resolve errors and bugs.

    Maintain comprehensive system documentation, user guides, job aides, and FAQs to support users.

    Develop and implement training programs to onboard new Talent team members and ensure continuous development for current team members.

  • SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT

    Lead and oversee all phases of local implementations for new platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

    Maintain comprehensive project documentation from initiation through to closing, ensuring transparency and accountability.

    Manage and coordinate numerous partners to align on project importance and deliverables.

    Monitor project progress meticulously and provide regular strategic updates to key stakeholders.

    Organize and oversee detailed testing to ensure all requirements are met to the highest standard.

    Coordinate and deliver effective communication, training, and change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.

  • LEVERAGE INTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS TO DRIVE STRATEGIC ENHANCEMENTS

    Lead collaboration with internal Talent and Payroll partners to identify key challenges and leverage technology to enhance the employee experience with Talent Systems.

    Strategically partner with global HR, HRIS, and IT teams to recommend and implement substantial enhancements to global platforms.

    Oversee the collaboration with the local IT team on the Requests For Information (RFI) process and conduct comprehensive market research for innovative solutions.

    Stay ahead of market trends and advancements, ensuring their relevance and application to RBNA.

    Shape and influence the strategic roadmap for North America’s core HCM platforms, identifying essential capabilities and systems solutions to bridge gaps.

    Supervise and guide the implementation of configuration changes, ensuring effective training for users to maximize system benefits.

  • VENDOR MANAGEMENT

    Develop, own, and optimize communication strategies and cadence with local vendors.

    Establish and maintain a robust escalation process for managing multiple vendors.

    Proactively drive improvements by reviewing product documentation and engaging with customer forums.

    Negotiate and prioritize system enhancements with vendors that align with RBNA's strategic objectives.

    Evaluate vendor performance rigorously and scan the market for superior alternatives as needed.

  • LEADERSHIP, COACHING, AND DEVELOPMENT

    Cultivate, inspire, and lead a diverse, high-performing team dedicated to excellence and innovation.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 5+ years of HRIS project and implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven history of using HR technology to create efficient business solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in technical project management.
  • Deep understanding of technology vendor selection and management.
  • Knowledge of end-user support best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Ceridian preferred.
  • Travel 0-10%
