PURPOSE
Lead a team to drive harmonized Wholesale Supply Chain processes for all adidas Wholesale Accounts in Canada, to ensure best-in-class delivery timing and execution of demand to customers. Focused on supply + demand alignment and mitigation, monthly planning, outbound operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and holistic supply execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall – Lead a team to drive continuous planning, process, system, and service improvements to achieve on-time availability and delivery for Canadian Wholesale accounts, while supporting strategic wholesale business priorities.
- Drive Supply Chain Performance - Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness, enabling best in class Availability and On-Time Shipping to all adidas Wholesale Accounts in Canada.
- Preseason Planning – Support sales, merchandising, and planning on seasonal assortments to align order deadline needs, RID feasibility, and key programs for tracking, as well as flagging risks due to order minimums or other issues.
- Deployment & Fulfillment Planning – Drive seasonal fulfillment mix targets to enhance profitability and efficiency, and ensure accountability to those targets x-functionally.
- In-Season Orderbook Alignment – Mitigate Sales Order demand and supply alignment issues in-season, and drive accountability of orderbook changes between Sales/Accounts and Order Management.
- Supply Forecasting - Maintain regular and accurate Market forecasting of in-season supply, to meet demand and support business objectives, specifically bottom's up financial forecasting.
- Data Analysis – Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate key insights to relevant stakeholders for action.
- Reporting - Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates on supply chain performance, including supply availability and fulfillment performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations, and any ad hoc requests as needed, specifically to the Canadian Sales Leadership team.
- Internal Collaboration – Drive cadences with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Order Management, Product Supply, Demand Planning, BUs, Sales, Inbound, DC Operations, and Deployment, to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Key Account Management – Drive impactful relationships with key customers to proactively manage potential risks, negotiate win-wins, and find continuous process improvements, with the goal of enabling top and bottom-line growth.
- Account Interaction Model – Provide regularly visibility to leadership of Key Account performance, cadences, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure Customer Compliance – Coordinate operations back with Customer Compliance teams to ensure full compliance with customer agreements and Vendor Guides, and negotiate changes with customers.
- Process Improvement - Recommend and implement process improvements and innovative ways of working to enhance supply chain operations and reduce costs.
- Risk Management - Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
- Support Strategic Initiatives - Contribute to the development and execution of strategic supply chain initiatives to support overall business goals.
- Lead and Develop a Team – Lead and develop a small team to achieve targets, as well as grow and develop.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Advanced understanding of Wholesale supply chain processes, including purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Advanced knowledge of demand forecasting, supply planning, and financial planning.
- Proven history of driving KPIs related to supply chain performance that drive on-time Availability and Shipping performance, including risk assessment, mitigation, and continuous improvement.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assemble data, interpret it, craft executive summaries and deliver business insights
- Effective Storytelling and negotiation through oral and written communication, as well as data visualization.
- Understanding of methodologies for process improvement, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Industry-specific knowledge/experience, particularly in the athletic footwear and apparel space.
- Strong project management skills to oversee and implement supply chain initiatives.
- Ability to lead a small team of 3-5 people to deliver results.
- Ability to foster a team culture and inspire learning and personal development.
- Successful track record of developing direct reports
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence various departments, including Product Supply, Demand Planning, Sales, and Operations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing supply chain processes and data.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (SAP) and data analysis tools (PowerBI, Excel, Tableau).
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships with key retailers, and driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to contribute to the development and execution of broader strategic supply chain initiatives.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- College or university degree with a focus supply chain management, Post graduate level preferred; alternatively equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Logistics, Footwear and/or Apparel
- Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Customer Service environment within the footwear and apparel industry
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in management roles or external stakeholder management
