Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
The primary objective of this role is to streamline all activities necessary for efficiently translating the unconstrained Demand signal into a streamlined Supply Chain plan, thereby maximizing product availability. The candidate will be tasked with establishing efficient processes between the Product Supply Interface (PSI) team in Bogota, the Product Supply Operation (PSO) and the Product Supply Creation (PSC) team in Porto, aiming to achieve a world-class service level in terms of On Time Allocation (COTAI) of products to meet countries' Order Book requirements. The role is also expected to establish an enhanced “agile” supply chain by leveraging the Nearshoring sourcing opportunities in the region and the adidas' global Responsiveness/SPEED programs. Finally, the role entails providing transparent insights to Management regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing risks and opportunities, and ensuring adherence to business commitments or implementing corrective actions if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in Product Supply Chain Process: Provide clear direction, set challenging business goals, and define tactical objectives related to availability and inventory from the Market Product Supply Interface perspective.
- Efficient Product Supply Planning: Collaborate closely with the regional Demand Planning team and leverage support from the Bogota Product Supply Interface team to develop the most effective Product Supply plan.
- Establishing Transparent Processes: Set up a regular drumbeat between the Bogota and Porto Product Supply teams to ensure transparency regarding Availability, including significant product launches and Inventory performance.
- Risk Mitigation and Decision-Making: Drive proactive identification and mitigation of supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity amidst market dynamics; maintaining close communication with countries' SCM teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Disseminate monthly purchasing results to various business stakeholders, fostering transparency and confidence in product availability; provide insights into corrective actions when needed.
- Agile Supply Chain Solutions: Translate commercial requirements into agile supply chain solutions through Nearshoring opportunities, enhancing speed-to-market, reducing lead times, and mitigating disruptions while ensuring cost competitiveness.
- Sourcing Collaboration: Foster robust partnerships with the regional sourcing team to enhance factories' performance, mitigate risks, and foster innovation and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
- Inventory Optimization: Optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability by effectively balancing demand and supply, leveraging support from the Global Data & Analytics team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal partners such as Marketing and Commercial channels to align with Go-to-Market activities and overall supply chain plans.
- On-Time Allocation Ownership: Take ownership of the On-Time Allocation KPI, conduct GAP/why-why analysis and establish action plans to mitigate any risk.
- End-to-end Business Planning Alignment: Align end-to-end business planning from a supply standpoint with Demand Planning to support the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring adaptability to market strategies, goals, and commitments in response to changing conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and a sense of ownership.

- Excellent understanding of the overall supply chain and supply planning processes.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) at all organizational levels, capable of leading discussions in small and larger groups, with strong presentation abilities.
- Demonstrates influence in building consensus with internal and external partners.
- Capable of challenging the status quo.
- Proficient in project management.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office suite (all programs) and proficiency in PowerBI.
- Displays technical curiosity, creativity, and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish and strong interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Over 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain Management position.
