The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.
LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people. The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Sr Manager, Office Operations & Administration:
The Sr. Manager, Office Operations and Administration will oversee all office management functions and administrative processes, ensuring the organization runs smoothly and efficiently. This position will be responsible for managing office services and facilities, including vendor relationships, appliance repairs, and overall office operations. Additionally, they will oversee administrative operations to ensure consistent support across functions. The Sr. Manager will report to the Director of People Management and work closely with senior leadership teams to optimize office workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Services and Facilities Management:
- Oversee office supplies, inventory tracking, and front desk operations to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Manage all office facilities, including vendor management for office-related services, appliance repairs, and facility maintenance (e.g., HVAC, office equipment).
- Act as the liaison between the office and building management, ensuring operational continuity.
- Source and manage relationships with external vendors for cleaning, maintenance, office supplies, and other essential services.
- Ensure timely repair and servicing of office appliances and equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient office operations.
- Ensure the smooth delivery of mail services, office supplies, and equipment across the organization.
Administrative and Strategic Support:
- Implement office systems and processes that enhance overall administrative efficiency and align with organizational goals.
- Proactively manage and oversee administrative projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various teams to support operational initiatives and projects, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Provide strategic input on office operations and administrative processes, helping to shape the organization's operational framework.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the EA team.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in office management, executive support, or related administrative roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities.
Background & Qualifications:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant
- Expertise in facilities management, office services, and operational support, including vendor management and appliance maintenance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Must actively support and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Position Requirements:
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a desk or attending meetings.
- Ability to move throughout the office for coordination purposes, including visiting various departments or handling office services.
- Lifting and Carrying:
- Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies or materials (e.g., boxes, equipment, or office furniture) weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Assistance with office setup for meetings or events, which may involve light physical tasks such as arranging furniture or setting up equipment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications in office management or facilities management are a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
