We are driven by creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for sport. Our teams thrive when people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives come together. That’s why we are committed to building an environment where everyone feels included, respected, and empowered to do their best work.

The Role

As Senior Manager, Accounting, you will lead and strengthen core accounting operations while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams across the business. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement in processes—while acting as a people leader who develops talent and fosters collaboration.

This role combines technical accounting expertise, leadership, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Audit, and Business teams) to support business objectives
  • Ensure strong internal controls and support internal and external audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse accounting team, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and accountability
  • Act in line with adidas values: performance, passion, integrity, and respect

What You Bring

We recognize that strong candidates may not meet every requirement. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.

  • Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, or controllership roles
  • Proven leadership experience, including people management and team development
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A continuous improvement approach and comfort working with change

What We Offer

  • A culture of collaboration, diversity, and belonging
  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A global environment where sport, innovation, and people come together
