Full Description
Responsibilities:
- Day to day contact for League Clubhouse Equipment Managers
- Responsible for helping build and maintain a positive relationship with the Clubhouse Equipment Managers
- Receive and process all Clubhouse orders to MFG floor while working within our available capacity and contractual obligations
- Manage order flow to satisfy customer expectations daily
- Maintain player database for each season
- Manage and maintain jersey stock levels
- Work with Manufacturing and Distribution to expedite orders as needed
- Responsible for ensuring Clubs have placed full roster (special events, opening day, etc.) orders in a timely manner to allow enough production time
- Monitor and track imported apparel orders for the following season
- Work collectively with planning for upcoming seasons forecasts and needs for raw materials
- Department Calendar Management - ensure necessary tasks are completed within calendar timelines
- Travel and participate in Spring Training Fit Sessions
- Travel and lead individual Club meetings at Winter Meetings
- Travel to Clubs when required
- Assist with other projects as assigned and needed
Educational/Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous sales/customer service experience required (inside or outside)
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships
- Must be able to maintain effective internal relationships
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point)
- FMS/DMS and experience helpful, but not mandatory
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Must be able to multitask and be flexible
- Valid drivers license
- 15% travel
- Travel to on site facilities, as needed, during special events and hot markets
