Full Description
The National Account Specialist's primary objective is to further develop Red Bull’s Emerging Channel business by supporting the Emerging Account Sales team across multiple projects and tasks and by co-ordinating between multiple departments (Trade Marketing, Key Accounts, Finance, Distribution) to enable a standardized approach. The role will lead to supporting excellent execution in this channel which in turn will drive volume and new retail store reach for Red Bull Emerging Channels.
Key responsibilities include: supporting and enhancing key account new business processes, POS Co-ordination across the team, supporting the launch of new listings, tracking execution and monthly reporting for key customers. The role will work very closely with the Emerging Channels Account team, sales analytics, distribution, finance, as well as trade marketing.
NEW BUSINESS PROCESSES
Supporting Emerging Account team through end-to-end new business process.
Ownership of weekly and monthly reporting of new store openings.
Tracking of Red Bull POS ordering and placements.
In co-ordination with the Emerging Account and Data Analytics teams provide recommendations on reach process enhancements.
Ownership of weekly and monthly distribution metrics for newly opened accounts.
MONTHLY REPORTING
Support with major retailer sales analysis, monthly inventory reporting, cooler and display trackers for specific accounts and distribution hunt list analysis.
Develop sound recommendations on findings from these reports and provide action items to key stakeholders involved.
NEW ITEM PROCESS
Support National Account team with completing New Item listing forms needed for Emerging customers.
Co-ordinate OPL kits and samples for key Customer to ensure samples among the teams.
Co-ordinate internal KA New item plans and liaison with Distribution and Trade Marketing to provide detailed information for the launch of innovation.
LONG TERM SALES DRIVERS: PROJECT CO-ORDINATION
Support NAMS with rollout of important Long Term Sales Drivers like Cold at Cash, Warm Ambient Racks, Temporary Displays, by aiding co-ordination with: Tracking of rollout execution, POS inventory tracking, co-ordination with Operations, Trade Marketing and Distribution.
CUSTOMER & COMPETITIVE RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
Conduct store checks audits with summarized findings.
Participate in monthly ASM trade days at Distribution Partner and with the Emerging Account Manager.
Monitor and record competitive pricing, promotion and in-store execution activity.
EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 1+ year(s) in a sales support role within the CPG industry (Distribution or Sales preferred).
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task proficiently.
- Strong analytical skills – able to sort through data and provide concrete recommendations.
- Innovative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with A.C. Nielsen and Numerator is an asset.
- Bilingual in English/French is an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
