Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures, and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility.
- Self-directed worker for a specific service area.
- Supports organizational effectiveness through the identification and/or implementation of process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, provisions, and prepayments, ensuring compliance with company policies and adherence to deadlines.
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and prompt follow-up and resolution of unexplained or unreconciled open items.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports – Standard & Adhoc.
- Maintain close collaboration with Local Teams, Group Accounting, and FP&A teams to conduct a detailed analysis of monthly business results.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather transaction-related information and investigate unreconciled items.
- Compile and prepare documentation for external and internal audits requirements .
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional ad-hoc projects and assigned tasks.
- Need more experience in finance Group Reporting in S4 environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong accounting expertise in own area of work and related areas
- Good knowledge in the use of SAP/ S4 / CFIN through proven work experience
- Familiar with Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good English level
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to resolve issue independently
- Clear thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance/ CA- Inter/ ICWA- Inter
- Minimum 6 years’ GL experience
- Experience in a Shared Service / GBS/ GCC set up, Finance Transitions and operations
- Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function
