We are seeking a Specialist - Digital Site Merchandising to support the regions with strategically shaping the next phase of our rapidly growing Direct To Consumer (DTC) business. This role involves driving the site merchandising and optimisation of our onsite experience across all devices, to deliver a best-in-class user experience. You will leverage smart digital merchandising strategies, compelling content, and strong leadership skills to enhance the website performance and the entire user journey. Effective communication with diverse local and global stakeholders and the strategic application of the digital tools is essential to ensure comprehensive content and merchandising plans. This role offers the opportunity to translate insights into impactful growth initiatives.

Your Mission

  • Strategy Execution: The role demands a proactive approach to understanding and implementing the overarching global strategy, ensuring that all local initiatives are in complete harmony
  • Customer-Centric Site Optimisation: Developing and executing a short to mid term vision for the onsite customer experience is paramount. This requires a profound understanding of the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints and areas for enhancement
  • Technical & Analytical Excellence: A strong technical foundation is critical, encompassing a deep understanding of the various tools and systems within the Digital ecosystem
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective collaboration is fundamental to success. This role necessitates building strong working relationships with various teams, including Technology, Marketing, Commercial, and global counterparts. Seamless alignment of Digital site merchandising efforts with broader marketing campaigns, commercial strategies, and global initiatives is crucial
  • System Enhancements & Innovation: Support for continuous improvements of the technical platforms is a key responsibility. A strong understanding of CMS functionalities and the ability to leverage them effectively is essential.
  • Performance & Process Improvement: A data-driven approach to performance management is critical. This includes the regular analysis of commercial performance, campaign effectiveness, and overall trading performance. Based on these insights, the individual will be responsible for identifying areas for process refinement and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency across Digital operations
  • Data-Driven Optimisation: Championing a data-led culture is essential for continuous improvement of the customer experience. This involves leveraging data from various sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior across all devices. Through ongoing testing, detailed reporting, and the generation of actionable insights, the individual will drive a cycle of continuous optimisation, ensuring that the site evolves to meet the ever-changing needs and expectations of the customer. This includes developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of optimisation efforts.

Your story

  • You have 2+ years of experience in digital site merchandising and optimisation within a global organisation, with a strong understanding of data driven merchandising and KPI ownership
  • You have demonstrated experience in web analytics, with a strong preference for hands-on experience utilising platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA), Amplitude, or Content Square for in-depth user behavior analysis and reporting
  • You possess a highly proactive and adaptable work style, demonstrating the capacity to independently manage tasks, identify opportunities, and navigate ambiguity without constant supervision, while also remaining flexible to evolving priorities.
  • You have a proven ability to perform effectively and maintain composure under pressure, successfully managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines within a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different teams and levels, building rapport and managing expectations.
  • You are highly organised and capable of effectively prioritising a diverse workload, managing time efficiently, and ensuring timely completion of critical tasks and projects.
  • You have solid experience in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues, including those with a technical component, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to finding effective solutions.
  • You exhibit a meticulous approach to work, with a strong commitment to detail, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.
