Team and Job Overview

SPORTFIVE is seeking a Specialist, Digital - Global Motorsport based in New York, NY. The Manager, Digital – Global Motorsport will be responsible for executing the day-to-day account management for one of the world's most prestigious motorsport rights-holders. The work involves holistic digital marketing, including social media, influencer marketing, media partnerships, and more.

This position will play a key role in executing the account's scope of work, including during the week and on race days, to help grow/develop the right-holder's digital audience in this region but also globally.

The Specialist, Digital – Global Motorsport will additionally support other projects that the team services as needed.

This role reports to the Manager, Digital – Global Motorsport.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in the management of the relationship with the client, including driving communication with all relevant stakeholders at the rights-holder
  • Plan, create and post content for the rights-holder's social media platforms including but not limited to X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook -- on weekdays, evenings and weekends (i.e., day-to-day content, race day, large scale events)
  • Lead regionalized creative and storytelling efforts across the rights-holder's different social channels
  • Play a lead part in the race coverage on weeknights and weekends
  • Execute and develop creator-first programs
  • Identify and establish localized media partnerships
  • Manage and implement social programming related to the rights-holder's tentpole events in an ongoing manner
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, commercial, brand, and data to ensure social media strategy is aligned with overall marketing initiatives
  • Understand and utilize different social media tools and platforms, including but not limited to: content generation and management, social listening, platform management
  • Support and monitor paid media campaigns and advertising
  • Execute and optimize business performance reporting including but not limited to: monthly recaps, benchmarking, performance monitoring, campaign evaluation, best practices, etc.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of social media and content creation experience, preferably with an agency or professional sports team/rights-holder
  • Proficient and fluent in spoken/written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere
  • Experience in developing branded content and activation concepts
  • Understanding of media buying mechanisms on social media and video sharing platforms

Job Requirements

  • Motorsport fan!
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior corporate experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Prior experience managing team or league handles for a motorsport property and/or sports team
  • Ability to self-start
  • Role is based in our NYC Office, (4) days a week in-office

Compensation
Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,500

SPORTFIVE is providing the compensation range it might pay for this position. The rate of pay offered will be dependent on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.

Affordable employee medical premiums starting at $30.90 per month (highest deductible) to $165.77 per month (lowest deductible).
