Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- To support Senior Manager Business Planning in executing the planning cycle by maintaining critical databases and master files, submitting external plans, and assisting with various planning and analysis tasks. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Analysis
- SWB Management:
Oversee the review and sign-off process for account Sales Working Budgets (SWB), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and optimal resource utilization.
- Financial Planning:
Lead FRS Channel Opex budget planning, allocation and tracking, ensuring alignment with financial targets and commercial needs.
- Sales Forecasting:
Analyze customer sales trends to project MTG (month-to-go) performance and provide insights that support strategic decisions.
Reporting
- Performance tracking:
Maintain and update weekly sales databases. Deliver regular or ad-hoc analysis to evaluate customer and channel performance.
- Takeback Tracking:
Monitor and report on product takeback activities, ensuring accurate data capture.
- Inventory insights:
Consolidate and analyze monthly inventory data. Identify trends and develop forecasting methodologies to improve inventory aging projections.
Others
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects and assist in preparing materials for internal and external meetings and presentations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong database management and data handling skills

- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Solid understanding of the sporting goods industry and wholesale/retail financial metrics
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- University degree or equivalent
Professional background / Experience
- At least 1~3 years of working experience in sporting goods / clothing industry
- Sales planning / operation positions are preferred
IT skills
- Excel: advanced
- PowerPivot: basic
- PowerPoint: basic
Language skills
- Fluent English
