Specialist Accounting Processes

Do you have a passion for numbers and accounting processes? We are looking for a Specialist Accounting Processes to supplement our accounting team at Red Bull HQ!

As member of the headquarters accounting team, you work on the further development and streamlining of the local and global accounting processes. Your key responsibilities include the collaboration in accounting process-related finance and cross-functional projects. Additionally, you are actively involved in the conception and creation of a global accounting process documentation, the associated digital training concept, and the continuous review process in that area.

• PROJECT WORK

  You collaborate in different kinds of finance or cross-functional projects that affect existing accounting processes or the creation of new processes or process components. Based on your profound operative accounting and accounting process knowledge, you ensure a proper and compliant system-level implementation.

  You participate in accounting process optimization and adaption projects at the headquarters by actively supporting the Chief Accountants and their teams in implementing process optimization opportunities.

  Part of your responsibilities is the support of RB subsidiaries in specific operative accounting or accounting process-related topics and projects. You ensure that all relevant information is shared with the involved stakeholders and that the applicable RB Finance guidelines and compliance principles are observed.

• COLLABORATION IN THE GLOBAL ACCOUNTING HARMONIZATION PROCESS

  You collaborate in the conception and work on the creation of a global accounting process documentation. This includes the development of a profound understanding of the RB accounting processes and the responsibility for the collection and documentation of the relevant process components.

  Part of your role is the active and responsible participation in the development and implementation of a digital accounting training platform. You take over responsibility for the elaboration and realization of training content based on the global accounting process documentation.

  The engagement in the continuous review and maintenance of the accounting process framework and training is your responsibility as well.

• AD HOC SUPPORT OF THE AUSTRIAN AND GLOBAL ACCOUNTING TEAMS

  In case of specific need, like during month-end closing and year-end closing, you support the Austrian accounting team with taking over operative posting and closing tasks.

  You work on various financial analysis based on SAP accounting data upon request by your manager.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Graduate in Business Administration  / Alternatively higher-level secondary commercial college or professional education with focus on accounting and distinct interest in IT
• Very good English skills, German is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Profound understanding of operative accounting processes and accounting GAAP
• Very good SAP knowledge (ideally S/4HANA) is mandatory
• Experience in auditing (audit assistants/juniors - audit managers) is advantageous
• Engagement, self-responsibility, proactive personality, and hands-on mentality
• Reliability, flexibility, and robustness
• Precision, strong analytical, and communication skills
