We’re looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Accessories Designer to join the Accessories Design team at On, helping to shape a versatile and performance-driven product universe. This role goes beyond individual categories, you’ll work across a broad range of accessories, from functional training bags to soft accessories like socks, creating true all-rounders that support an active lifestyle.
You’ll design products that balance performance and style, combining innovation and functionality with a strong awareness of trends in fashion, sport, and wellness culture. The focus is on creating pieces that perform in motion while seamlessly fitting into everyday life.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of performance and fashion and enjoys contributing to the visual identity of a fast-growing activewear brand.
Your Mission
- Design and develop a range of accessories across categories including bags, socks, and headwear, tailored to the needs of active women in both urban and training environments.
- Translate performance requirements into aesthetically-driven, functional products that elevate the overall look.
- Conduct trend, market, and competitor research to inform design direction and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Create mood boards, concepts, and design stories that align with brand vision.
- Produce hand sketches, detailed design drawings, and technical drawings/tech packs for development.
- Prototype and iterate on designs through hands-on making, including sewing and building samples in the makerspace.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, sourcing, and marketing teams to ensure product excellence and timely delivery.
- Maintain awareness of materials, trims, and construction techniques relevant to performance and fashion accessories.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, bringing fresh ideas and a solution-oriented mindset to the design process.
Your story
- A degree in Accessories Design, Fashion Design, Product Design,or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in accessories design, ideally within fashion and/or performance sportswear.
- Experience designing across key product categories such as bags, socks, and headwear.
- Strong understanding of the balance between performance functionality and fashion-driven design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for design development and presentations.
- Solid knowledge of textiles, garment construction, fit, and product development processes.
- Experience working with performance materials is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, including sewing and sample creation.
- Self-motivated, structured, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Strong sense for fashion, performance-driven design, and functionality.
- Hands-on mindset, especially in prototyping and making.
- Structured and independent way of working.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; fluency in English (written and spoken).

The Experience Day
Your first taste of the Oniverse. This is a time to meet some of the people you'll be working closest with. In person or virtually, you'll get a feel for the day-to-day at On and the people who make it happen. You'll chat with a few potential teammates - the conversations will be as equally driven by the role and your experience as by our values. We believe how you do things is just as important as what you do.
