Full Description

Do you want to build the architecture that keeps content flowing across teams, services, and the globe? Then this role is for you

At Red Bull, storytelling and creating emotions are at the heart of everything we do, and media is our most powerful tool. As part of our Media Technology & IT team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of media technology for Red Bull teams worldwide. From our self-developed media platform to one of Europe’s most advanced TV studios, we’re redefining how media is created, managed, and distributed.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll design systems that turn complex business needs into scalable, secure B2B or B2E solutions – enabling seamless workflows for teams worldwide. As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate closely with business and technical partners, and you’ll shape sustainable architectures that deliver real value from idea to distribution. Your solutions will support teams across regions, products, and channels – shaping how content is planned, optimized, and distributed at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Expand all

  • ARCHITECT SOLUTIONS & SYSTEMS

You'll design the end‑to‑end solution- and information-architecture for your products and services. This includes defining system boundaries, data flows, integration patterns, and non‑functional requirements such as observability, security, scalability, and sustainability. You'll translate business and product needs into clear architectural concepts that enable reliable, long‑term solutions. You are comfortable making architectural decisions in evolving environments and revisiting them as products, technologies, and needs grow.

  • CONSULT & COLLABORATE WITH STAKEHOLDERS

As part of a cross-functional team you'll collaborate closely with vendors and other stakeholders to assess technical feasibility and guide architectural decisions. Acting as a trusted sparring partner, you'll challenge assumptions, balance tradeoffs, and ensure that solutions comply with organizational guardrails, standards, and requirements. Your goal is to enable informed decisions and shared ownership across teams.

  • ENABLE DELIVERY & QUALITY

You'll support engineering-teams throughout implementation by providing architectural guidance, reviewing solution designs, and helping resolve complex technical questions. By ensuring architectural decisions are well understood and consistently applied, you'll help engineering teams deliver high‑quality outcomes efficiently. While you don’t manage teams, you'll take ownership of architectural outcomes and ensure decisions translate into business value.

  • UNDERSTAND TECHNOLOGY & MARKET

You'll stay up to date with technology trends in content marketing, media platforms, and emerging areas such as AI, while maintaining a broad awareness of relevant industry developments. You'll evaluate vendors and SaaS solutions, conduct build‑vs‑buy analyses, and support sourcing decisions with a clear architectural perspective. Your focus is on long‑term value, not short‑term hype.

  • DRIVE ALIGNMENT & KNOWLEDGE

You'll contribute to a culture of transparency, learning, and continuous improvement. Through clear communication, structured thinking, and knowledge sharing, you'll help teams align on architectural principles and decisions. You'll work independently, adapt to change in an agile environment, and support others in navigating complexity with confidence.

  • You’re proactive, take ownership, are transparent, and embrace collaboration with partners across disciplines to deliver great experiences.
  • You combine analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
  • You’re curious about new technologies, methodologies, and domains, and driven to share knowledge and coach others.
  • You have a proven track record of bridging the gap between business demand and technical solution design.
  • You are experienced in challenging solution approaches constructively.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or then product management or business informatics with strong technical experience.
