WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that includes architects, product owners, and engineers from various disciplines. Together, you’ll design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support Nike’s global business and digital platforms. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across product, platform, and infrastructure teams to align technical execution with strategic goals.

In addition to contributing your own expertise, you’ll mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and promote engineering excellence through code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and collaboration rituals. You’ll also engage with global teammates across time zones, helping drive consistency and innovation across Nike’s technology ecosystem.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is seeking passionate and skilled Software Engineers to join our expanding Technology Centre at the Oliva Business Center. We are hiring across two core disciplines: Automation & Artificial Intelligence and Site Reliability Engineering. We welcome candidates at various career stages—from early-career professionals eager to grow, to seasoned experts ready to lead and innovate.

The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and technically strong in one of these domains. You thrive on solving complex engineering challenges that power Nike’s global business and elevate the experience of athletes around the world. You’re excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and impact go hand in hand.

Depending on your background and expertise, you may join one of the following focus areas:

Focused on Automation and Artificial Intelligence

  • Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), or Java, with hands-on experience building automation solutions

  • Skilled in open-source automation tools for Web and Mobile platforms such as Playwright, Cypress, Espresso, and XCUITest

  • Familiarity with AIOps, RPA platforms, and AI/ML frameworks including LangChain, MLFlow, Databricks, and GPT-4o

Focused on Site Reliability and Platform Operations

  • Strong proficiency in Linux environments, containerization with Docker, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS automation infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch)

  • Practical experience in incident management, observability tools, and writing operational runbooks

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that support Nike’s global platforms. Whether focused on automation or reliability, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve system performance, and drive innovation.

You’ll take ownership of features from design through delivery, contribute to incident response and operational excellence, and help shape engineering best practices across the organization. Your work will directly impact Nike’s ability to serve athletes and consumers worldwide—faster, smarter, and more reliably.
