WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for experienced Software Engineers to support and improve our operational processes for our evolving cloud native production systems and for our existing legacy applications. The candidates need to be highly collaborative with peers, be productive in a fast-paced support and development environment and have depth of software engineering experience.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be working with our engineering, support, business and user bases to support numerous legacy and new cloud-based applications. You will be working tightly with the team on the day-to-day activities to ensure timely resolution of break-fix items as well as managing their workload in regard to cross-functional development activities. You will also help modernize our ability to track and report DevOps metrics acoss our CP&I organization.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the larger Global Technology organization working on the Design Engineering Support and Operations team, reporting to the team's Production Support Director. You will work on day-to-day activities with your support resources, the team's Technical Product Manager(s), Technical Leads, Engineers, and Business Users on software development and support projects to achieve business objectives. You will also engage with other Global Technology functions and teams on organizational and technical goals. You will be directly fielding issues from our internal user community working to diagnose, resolve, document, and communicate on production issues.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on supporting software platforms built in AWS in support of product design, innovation, or product creation communities
  • Exhibit a sound understanding of support processes and procedures, demonstrating a high level of understanding of ITIL standards.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, working across all levels of leadership within the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in continual process improvement.
  • Deep understanding of testing framework and development of automated testing
  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer science fundamentals.
  • Ability to both rapidly diagnose and resolve break-fix issues, understanding business dates and gates and assigning priority and severity appropriately.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, on-prem infrastructure, and ability to support and diagnose issues.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with a multidisciplinary team while also being able to work independently.
  • Knowledgeable with Scrum development processes or similar Agile methodologies.
  • A track record of working with ambiguity and getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Experience with asset storage and content management systems is a plus.
  • Product Creation experience is a plus
  • Experience with 3D Applications and Tools is a plus.
