Full Description

The Social Media Specialist runs programming on Owned (RedBull.ro) and Managed third-party channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram).

Builds on the organization’s business plan by creating and implementing cross-platform programming strategies to support the wider marketing mix.

Manages the daily content creation, community management, and publishing for Red Bull Romania’s social media accounts, ensuring a year-round content plan for the defined audiences.

Drives brand love via organic engagement with as large an audience as possible across metrics such as reach, engagements, frequency, and length of interaction by ensuring Red Bull generates word of mouth with the right content and experience on the right account/platform at the right time.

Translates online performance data into actionable plans and uplevels broader digital media expertise and knowledge in the organization.

  • RUNS DAY-TO-DAY PROGRAMMING OF RED BULL'S OWNED AND MANAGED CHANNELS

    • Manages content programming and community management.
    • Defines content programming priorities and creates plans together with the Media Network and Marketing teams to build on the organization’s business plan by creating programming strategies that support the organization’s wider marketing mix.
    • Develops and oversees all local digital projects across owned media, including event pages, consumer activations, campaigns, athlete profiles, product launches, editorial, and more.
    • Oversees local SEO strategy and optimization, including oversight of local keyword library.
  • MONITORS, TRACKS, AND REPORTS ON THE PERFORMANCE

    • Optimizes channel performance through the use of analytics, scheduling, featuring, using customized functionalities, and driving smooth consumer journeys across platforms.
    • Develops and produces social-first content concepts around our marketing mix with a hyper-focus on local relevancy.
  • ENSURES A LOCAL FACE TO OUR GLOBAL BRAND ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS

    • Uses the right mix of local and global properties to ensure year-long audience engagement. Has a strong understanding of what local content will work with a local audience and how to program it.
    • Executes activation plans in close collaboration with the project managers to maximize campaign reach.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Digital Media professional with at least 2 years of experience in digital programming of channels/platforms.
  • Required to have experience running social media accounts
  • Knowledge of social copywriting and community management
  • Experience in content production is a plus (editing, shooting with a phone, etc.)
  • Expert in identifying where consumers live digitally, how they consume content, and how to engage them with content according to their consumption behavior
  • Has a constant sense of online trends and knows how to drive Word of Mouth online
  • Strong communicator, knows how to constantly uplevel digital knowledge in the organization
  • Passion for the Red Bull brand, its content, and values, and understands how to translate this into driving brand love in an online environment through media
