Full Description

The Social Media Manager manages and posts content daily across Topps' social media channels, including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitch. This role will focus on expanding Topps' presence in France and identifying emerging social media platforms. Additionally, you will lead all social media marketing and PR activities. Key Responsibilities are:

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the French market.
  • Manage influencer relations (both micro and macro) by organizing activations, sending out the latest collections, briefing influencers, and monitoring their content.
  • Support the development of social content calendars and handle daily publishing across various platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Establish new social media accounts from scratch on platforms where Topps is not yet present (e.g., TikTok).
  • Create engaging social media content and briefs, updating them throughout the month as needed.
  • Partner with creative teams to produce compelling video and still image content.

Content Creation and Execution:

  • Oversee the Topps content calendar, identifying key dates and opportunities to create and post relevant, engaging content.
  • Ensure all posts are properly tagged, published, and linked, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Develop post copy in the brand's voice(s) to ensure consistency and engagement.
  • Contribute to community management by actively engaging and responding to followers, adhering to the brand's tone-of-voice guidelines.

Trend Monitoring and Strategy Development:

  • Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for quick-turn creative and ongoing strategy enhancements.
  • Assist with social media strategies for product launches, events, and significant sports moments.
  • Provide competitive and industry-wide research and reporting to inform strategy and content decisions.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze social media performance metrics and share insights to improve performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize content and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing.
  • Proficiency in best practices and publishing tools for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with social media publishing and monitoring tools.
  • Experience or strong enthusiasm for working in a sports-related field is preferred, particularly with an interest in collectibles.
  • Proven experience in managing a diverse base of influencers.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexible and independent, capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Passion for social media, sports, and pop culture entertainment.
  • Fluent in both French and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with French and European social media landscapes.
  • Understanding of French cultural nuances and trends in social media and sports.
