THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are seeking a Social Content Creator/Editor with strong creative, editorial and content making skills to join our growing internal production department. You will be collaborating with the creative department to develop and execute on paid social content marketing assets that will live on FD owned and partnered digital, social platforms.  You will play a significant role in the evolution of our internal production capabilities as we continue to push the boundaries of integrated production in creative and efficient ways. This role requires strong interpersonal skills due to frequent one-on-one collaboration with creatives, editors & producers. This role will require a solid understanding of the creative process and your ability to receive and implement feedback while being comfortable sharing your own knowledge and expertise throughout the development, production & editorial process. Thus, building a strong collaborative environment where the creative process can thrive.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Collaborate with a small, core social content development team.
  • Work with production to develop pre-viz/execution plan for shoot & edit.
  • Create and execute on edit plan for video assets.
  • Successfully manage peer & stakeholder feedback - receive and apply.
  • Execute on content creation both production & post.
  • Integrate animations/graphics into video assets as needed.
  • Familiar with Video Workflows & formatting with all major social media platforms.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 4 years of video editorial experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and associated plugins.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly or learn on the fly.
  • Expertise with turn-key social content creation both production & post a plus.
  • Shooting capabilities with DSLR, iPhone and equivalent a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to project and media management, familiarity with creating toolkits.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation using Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus.

The applicable salary range for this position is $79,000 - $99,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
