Shop Technician - Project Assistant

This temporary position will be primarily responsible for assisting with special projects and needs within the PGA TOUR Golf Technologies Team in Tucson, AZ.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Background in manufacturing, machining, welding and metal forming, equipment assembly a plus
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Support for the fabrication, refurbishing and maintaining all equipment included in the golf cart fleet, this includes all power cables, battery health, and charging capabilities.
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
• Perform basic repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensures machine maintenance schedules and equipment servicing results in minimum equipment downtime.
• General facility maintenance as needed.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.
